After activating your Lane student email, your password will be the same password you use to log into myLane and Moodle. You can change your student email password in Google without changing your myLane password, although it is recommended that you do not, as it can cause issues.
Forgotten G Suite Password:
• Verify you can log into myLane.
• If you cannot login to myLane, then go to Forgot Password link in myLane and use one of the 2 options offered to reset that password.
• Verify you can log into myLane again to make sure the updated password works.
• To update your Gmail password you must revisit the student email claim page at https://lanecc.edu/gsuite.
Note
Every time someone goes to https://lanecc.edu/gsuite to claim their email, their myLane password is updated to Google for both their student and staff email accounts and overwrites any previous passwords.
