- Find a place that is well-lit and comfortable. A clean wall in your home that is white or a solid color would be perfect.
- You can have someone take the picture for you, or you can place your phone on a tripod or prop against books or other objects where it is stable and upright.

- Launch the Camera app from the Home screen of your iPhone or iPad.

Tips for Getting the Best Possible Picture
Make sure your lens is clean and your lighting is good before shooting. Take more photos than you think you need from several angles to ensure you get the shot you want. If the subject is out of focus, simply tap where you want the focus to be on your screen.

Most smartphones have internal photo editing software to create the best possible photo. You can use this to fix lighting and color, crop your photo, and more before posting your photo.
Getting your Photo to your Computer
The easiest way to get your photo from your phone to your computer is to email it to yourself. You can do this either by tapping the share icon and selecting "email" or by creating a new text message with the photo attached and entering your email as the recipient.
